Jo Stop Convenience Store

Store Clerk

Sells items to guests. Stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items. Answers guest’s questions and provides information on procedures or policies. Counts money in cash drawers. Greets guests entering establishment. Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guest. Maintains clean and orderly checkout area. Promoties positive public relations. There are two (2) openings for this position. The first is a seasonal/temporary position averaging 24 hours per week. The second is a part-time position averaging 20-25 hours per week. Applicants must be available day and evening shifts, including weekends.

Jo Stop Convenience Store

Stocker

Stock shelves and mark prices on shelves and items. Greet guests entering establishment. Maintain clean and orderly store area, parking lot, and grounds. Must be able to lift 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally. This is a seasonal position averaging 10 hrs per week. Applicants must be available 11am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Housekeeper

Responsible for cleaning of the facilities. Promotes positive public relations and guest service. There are two (2) openings for this position. These are flex-time positions averaging 0-15 hours per week. Applicants must be available any/all shifts.

Facilities

Maintenance Technician

Assists in all maintenance done at facility and on grounds. Responsible for all maintenance and repairs on HVAC in building and ramp. Paints, wallpapers and patches walls in building and ramp. Helps set up and take down for special events. Runs water, gas and sewage lines. Repairs all faucets and drains. Installs and repairs kitchen equipment. Vacuum repair for housekeeping. Pulls wire for electrical projects and surveillance. Assists in climate controls and operations of all portside systems. Assists in ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations of all governing agencies. Promotes positive public relations. Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years facilities/maintenance and construction experience in addition to strong plumbing, painting, electrical, and woodworking skills. This is a full time position averaging 32-40 hours per week. Applicants must be available graveyard shift from 11pm-7am.

Facilities

Deep Cleaner

Responsible for cleaning of the facilities including operation of floor cleaning equipment (floor scrubber, grout cleaner, carpet extractor, carpet pile lifter, vacuum cleaner, swing arm machine and others). Must be able to lift and move chairs, tables, etc. and climb step ladders. Promotes positive public relations and guest service. This is a flex position averaging 15 hours per week. Applicants must be available graveyard shift, traditionally 11pm-7am.

Finance

Cage Cashier

Deals directly with casino patrons to exchange chips for cash, slot tokens for cash and the cashing of cash equivalent and non-gaming checks, and the proper completion of all related documents at the window. Provides services for the Slot Department and the Table Games Department. Also provides casino services to customers. Greets customers in a friendly, courteous, and attentive manner. Cashes personal checks, traveler’s checks, credit card advances, gift certificates and Diamond Club vouchers. Responsible for the custody and maintenance of bulk cash, reserve chips, checks and documents relating to main and window banks. This is a part-time position averaging 16-31 hours per week. Applicants must be available any/all shifts.

Food and Beverage

Cook- Woodfire Grille

Attends assigned kitchen cooking station(s) to prepare ala carte foods according to menu portion and quality specifications. Ensures menu quality and consistency of food items. Ensures kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained in safe and sanitary condition. Responsible for proper storage of food and cooking items. Responsible for all communications on front line. Promotes positive public relations. Must have one (1) year appropriate experience. This is a part-time position averaging 16-31 hours per week. Applicants must be availabe evenings, Tuesday through Saturday.

Dishwasher

Washes dishes, glassware, silverware, service ware and cookware. Empties trash, sweeps and mops floors. Promotes positive public relations. There are two (2) openings for this position. All openings are flex-time, averaging 0-15 hours per week. Applicants must be available any/all shifts.

Cook- Kitchen Buffet

Attends assigned buffet cooking stations to prepare all carte foods according to menu portion and quality specification. Promotes positive public relations. There are two (2) openings for this position. Both are part-time, averaging 16-31 hours per week. Applicants must be available any/all shifts.

Marketing

Casino Host

Responsible for greeting and attending requirements of premium players. Greets and assists customers with disputes. Coordinates room, food and beverage, entertainment and other arrangements with appropriate departments for the VIP attendants. Culls prospective players from existing database. Cultivates new players from the public. Comp players rooms, merchandise and food based on parameters established by the Director of Marketing. Builds and maintain professional relationships with players. Assists Director of Marketing with special promotions. This is a full time position averaging 40-45 hours per week. Applicants must be available evenings and weekends. A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications is preferred but can be substituted with appropriate experience in a related field.

Marketing

Event Center/Group Sales Rep

The Event Center Group Sales Representative position requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, prior sales or customer relations experience. Strong oral and written communication skills are also desired. Position duties include managing inbound calls and other inquiries regarding facilities booking information, events schedules and planning efforts, Event Center room set-up, and assisting the Manager of Event Sales. This is a part time position.

Slots

Slot Technician

As Slot Technician, the successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of electronics and computers. Further, a working knowledge of gaming software formats, EPROM changes, and slot machine construction, relocation and maintenance are desired. Position requires excellent communication skills and good vision, and the ability to lift large items (75-100 lbs) and work in a loud atmosphere. High school diploma or GED preferred, along with some continuing education in IT, electronics, or software proficiency certification.
